SRCC Night in The Lounge | Future Casualties, Proper Spirit, Sharp Darts @ The Lounge at Hempfield Apothetique

PUNK NIGHT AT HEMPFIELD APOTHETIQUE One night, three bands. On September 19th, Proper Spirit, Sharp Darts, and Future Casualties will be throwing down at Hempfield Apothetique in Lancaster. If you like punk, you’re not going to want to miss this show, featuring three of the area’s most exciting local acts. Proper Spirit headlines the night. An emo-shoegaze three-piece from Lancaster, PA, the band draws on influences like Slowdive, Nothing, Dinosaur Jr, Beach Fossils, and LVL UP, filtered through existential dread and the anxieties that greet them each morning. Their debut single is pending release in Q3 or Q4 2026, with a collection of collaboratively written songs to follow in early 2027. Sharp Darts takes the stage before them, pulling from ’90s touchstones like Smashing Pumpkins, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Nirvana. Expect fuzzy, loud, melancholic guitars, pounding and groovy drums, swelling bass, and dreamy vocals. The band’s self-titled debut EP dropped in 2021, with local favorites “Ashes” and “Old Clothes,” followed by their second EP, Another Night With the Dead, in summer 2023, featuring “Sleep on Fire” and “Plot Holes.” Future Casualties opens the show. Born from three friends in the Lancaster music scene who decided the world needed more riffs and fewer rules, this power trio blends technical chops with raw, loud energy. Known for high-energy live sets and hook-laden originals, their sound mixes face-melting riffs, heady pun-driven lyrics, and a psychedelic edge that’s equal parts chaos and control. Infused FRIED Chicken Wing Night in The Lounge Join us Saturday, September 19th from 6–7pm for a Fried Chicken Wing Night, eat in or take out*! Enjoy a dozen THC-infused wings (2mg D9 THC per wing, 24mg total) featuring four flavors: Garlic Parmesan, Buffalo, Teriyaki, and Mango Habanero, served with mac-n-cheese and mashed potato sides. Cost is $25 in advance or $30 at the door. In collaboration with The Bearded Bistro.
