Walnut St, Lancaster, PA About the Artist — Bond of Art (B.O.A.) Tristan is an artist and muralist whose work pulses with anime energy, Afropunk spirit, pastel color, and his signature motto: “Stay vibrant, be vibrant.” His canvas spans everything from can label collaborations with Troegs, Mack Brewing, and the Barrel & Flow Fest to sweeping murals across Harrisburg including the iconic circular surrealist deer mounted during the 2017 Harrisburg Mural Festival. You may also know his work from the HBG Flea or the Odd Ones Bizarre at the Millworks. Drawing from Japanese culture, retro wave, Afro punk, and pop culture, Tristan’s style is unmistakably his own, threading a consistent visual language through every piece. “I believe my work shows the power that we all hold within ourselves. There are layers to us all, vulnerability and also strength, and I like to capture that by creating empowering pieces with strong female and male characters depicted as warriors and dressed in geometric armors.” About the Performer — THELONIUS CHLDHD Alumni member THELONIUS is a Harrisburg, PA native whose relationship with Hip Hop runs deep, shaped by the artistry of Talib Kweli, Nas, The Roots, Common, Mos Def, Eminem, and more.
